This is a proven shaft – the ProLite has been around for years and the technology sound.
I know the Prolite 35 was at one time very popular on tour, particularly the Senior Tour. Several functions may not work.
Besides my putter, it is my favorite club and has been in my bag for over 10 years without suspension. Posted 27 October – I followed Robert Karlsson in a tour event last year and he was killing it with a Grafalloy Blue in a R driver.
I know the PL Red was built on the prolite 35 platform, but the actual prolite 35 isn’t seen much any more. There’s plenty of other shafts in the same price bracket as the prolite that are still very popular on tour.

Most golfers can’t benefit from these really expensive shafts. Being a fan and firm believer of lighter shafts, to boost your ball speed and distance, the Grafalloy ProLite shaft is definitely a winner. GolfWRX – the world’s largest and best online golf community.
But I see a pgolite of people, and the majority of people on here, ggrafalloy go out and buy all this stuff and all these expensive shafts and can’t use them to their potential. The Grafalloy ProLite is an ideal shaft for better players looking to tweak their ball flight and gain distance through a lighter shaft with an emphasis on tighter torque readings to accomplish their goals. Bottom line for me is, you need to get fit so you can get something prloite to what you need Thank you for any help and comments.
It’s funny to go out to courses and listen to guys talk about how good they are and how their new shaft just isn’t right for them. This shaft, although considered old technology, has yet to be surpassed by a “new” product”. I will say this though back on subject
