No, create an account now. There is an issue with temperture read-outs icw a Newcastle CPU. That sounded like a hurricane, so I’ve disconnected all but one case fan, and the power supply fans, and the CPU fan – much quieter and I can’t see any difference in temperature.

Both of these boards seems particulary adept however, from what I have read, the newer Asus BIOS’s allow for enhanced overclocking allowing one to define independent speeds for different buses whereas the MSI is limited adjusting all 3 buses with the same setting.

MSI K8T Neo-FSR/ FIS2R Drivers
I’m using cool-n-quiet, and everything worked fine out of the box no flashing needed, but it came out of the box with the latest bios revision anyway.
I also lowered my vCore to 1,45v, that also reduced the CPU temp. Sorry, I’ve been busy with some personal business. Neo-fxr/ still showing the annoying message. Tech Support Guy is completely free — paid for by advertisers and donations.
I think they read the same Winbond sensors. Pretty good, but stuff does crash from time to time. The only concern was the Linux support.
